History:
• Born Ramona Daniela Domínguez in 1951; grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico
• She was the oldest of five siblings and as the oldest daughter took on a lot of the caretaking duties for the family. Loved her family but also resented them, iykyk
• She was smart and loved school but the family could not afford college, so after graduating from high school she went straight into working a series of low paying jobs of the waitressing and housekeeping variety
• Her high school boyfriend enlisted in the army and they got married before he left to fight in the tail end of the U.S.'s involvement in Vietnam in the early 70s. This didn't go well
• The four years after her husband returned home were a horrible cycle of cheating and abuse, which finally culminated in Thresh catching her husband with another women that ended and shooting him in self-defense... and then shooting the girlfriend because she wanted to make it look like a murder-suicide
• Thresh was approached by Raíz (see verse info) while in prison serving a life sentence for murder. The deal sounded good at the time, okay? (And, honestly, in many ways, it has been)
• She's currently almost to the halfway point of her pact and is determined to finish things with the distinction of not adding any extra time onto her contract
